Who else has to fight with a child about vegetables or better yet eating different things. Riley is my Food War child, She is a very picky eater so I have to make sure she is eating on top of that make sure she is getting all her nutrients when she is eating. Riley Meal ideas in her mind is eating spaghetti noodles, white rice, French Fries , Strawberries, pancakes, apples, sausages, Mac and cheese, peanut butter Jelly, and chicken nuggets which is not a bad diet at all.

Sometimes I truly feel like a bad mom like I am not helping her get all her nutrients. So I came up with a few of my own ideas to calm my own nerves on her eating habits. One idea was to purchase some vitamin milk so I purchase her some Pediasure for toddlers, that contains a lot of vitamins and that has been doing wonders for me mentally, because I am quite sure Riley is fine. It is me who needs the reassuring that she is getting enough nutrients for her little body.

Today I decided to try something different with her. Robert and I are starting our own path to eating right so I purchased a lot of frozen fruit and vegetables to make smoothies. I made a smoothie with Strawberries, Blueberries, Kale and Almond Milk and let both kids try it, to my surprise they loved it! I had finally won! I gave them the smoothie with a side of apples for a small afternoon snack and they drunk it all! this indeed was a Proud Mama Moment for me!!! Riley Had Kale and did not even know it today!
