Toys are taking over my life! And not in the cute Toy Story way. . After we put the girls to bed, it takes us about 30 minutes to clean up the mess that is also known as our house. We usually split the duties. My husband takes on the kitchen and I take on the playroom. My children aren’t quite old enough to “clean up” after themselves. I try to sing the “clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere” song to encourage my girls to clean up, however it only works for about 30 seconds.
When it comes to toy rooms, I am not a fan of the bins that you can see everything was just thrown in. When I look at a clean playroom, I want to barely see any toys visible or if they are, I want to see them in their “place”.
Lets get down to it! Storage is the new 2017! My favorite storage units by FAR are the ones from Costco! They offer a classic look to any playroom and the actual storage bins are HUGE unlike any others I have seen. The best part of these is the price! For one unit, you pay $129.99. They were just recently on sale and we got 2! These are amazing! Plus they have copious amounts of storage!
I know I said I don’t like bins that you can see everything just thrown in, but I am going to make an exception with my next favorite toy organizer. I will say that I have three of these and I use them for things that don’t look too messy when thrown into the bin. I have one each in my girls rooms for their stuffed animals. And I have one in the toy room for all of the balls we have accumulated. Seriously how does one acquire so many balls? These I found on Amazon at a measly $19.99. Plus, there are so many options! How cute are these?!?!
These two options for toy storage have really helped me keep the ciaos at bay AND help me organize in toy rotation.
